The heat of their salsas is definitely French heat... meaning basically no heat at all (and the communal bowls of it left out on the tables are a bit odd... didn't feel the most sanitary, to be honest). I also ordered the guacamole and chips which was tasty. - Menudo - Pozole - Fish Tacos - Caldo de Res Beef Stew - Enchiladas - Fajitas - Taco Salad - Tripita - Stuffed Fresh Oysters Everything is prepared fresh with quality ingredientsYou order here at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Got to the taqueria around 2:30pm so all they had by this time was pork -- Al Pastor, Pierna Adobada, and Chorizo. Long-time local residents took me here for lunch and at their recommendation I had the tostada with a small guacamole and chips and washed it down with a Mexican Coca-Cola in a bottle. I got asada, tripe, and cabeza I believe. Topped with cilantro , onions and a guacamole salsa washed it down with a Jarrito. What a gem. Don't be afraid to eat here, even if you have to look up how to say your number in Spanish. The Coke was wonderful as it is made with real cane sugar so has a slightly different taste that takes me back to the days of my youth before the use of corn syrup. The relleno was perfect. A lot of people claim that this place is the best in Paris but I think Candelaria takes the cake. I felt like I was back home. Building exterior gave me pause. 5.
