All teachers have to come to school at 07:15 for extra tutoring; if you need help with anything, they are there for you. She struggled with ADD and at no time did they ever treat her bad but they engaged and encouraged her more and helped her to find ways to stay on track without ever suggesting she should take medication. She was amazed at the difference from her old school and EHE- her teachers, academics, lunches, the administration...everything is amazing! Student athletes could were short shorts but other girls would be sent to the office or sent home for doing so. So far out of my 3 years that I have spent at this high school has created so many memories for me, that I think I will remember for the rest of my life. The IB program gives the ciriculum a very solid core. Our students are enthusiastic learners who are well-prepared for the future!I have 3 children who have attend Sandia Vista. We live in Rio Rancho and drive about 30-45 minutes each morning and afternoon to get the kids there but I would drive an hour or more if I had to in order to give my kids this amazing opportunity to be part of Sandia Prep and all they have to offer!
