I would not suggest this movie to anyone but diehard horror fans who don't mind wasting a hour and a half.Película muy amateur y con unos actores excepcionalmente mal dirigidos. The acting, despite being a cast of complete unknowns, is surprisingly competent and because it was actually shot on film it looks reasonably professional and even quite atmospheric at times. It often fails miserably at everything that it's trying to achieve.I feel like this was one of the horror films I watched before I went to uni then forgot about, makes sense, I can barely remember it even now, 5 mins after finishing it.The production values for Plague Town are considerably higher than most of the direct-to-DVD horror features I’ve sat through of late. I'm skeptical, but it would make sense given how forgettable it is.It's kind of like a shitty version of The Hills Have Eyes set in IrelandI am a horror fan that enjoys atmospheric tension and a storyline with some depth based loosely on real life; religion, spirits, creatures, etc. Check out some of the IMDb editors' favorites movies and shows to round out your Watchlist.Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.

Was this review helpful to you? Most of the characters were well done and only the bitchy female was annoying.

EFX on the kids is downright demented. More.

The acting, despite being a cast of complete unknowns, is surprisingly competent and because it was actually shot on film it looks reasonably professional and even quite atmospheric at times. Story is not great and the characters are not very likeable which works against this flick.Quien (como yo) sienta debilidad por el subgénero de paletos deformes puede que encuentre algo aprovechable en esta iteración, más atmosférica que la mayoría al entroncar también con la especialidad "niños malrolleros".
