A heads up: It's also a good idea to wear comfortable shoes as you have to walk to the different locations.The Vanderbilt museum holds some of my fondest memories as a kid! The new chairs (from the recent renovation of the star theater) areShowes are always worth the effort easu parking and just pick a venue you will appreciate its a super fun spot with great visuals ever family should go. Each room was decorated and had one or two stuffed figures with a story to tell. This was our first time going to this specific planetarium, so we didn't know what to expect. Our mansion tour guide, believe his name was Pete, was awesome. I, for one, would have liked to know why humans were at first even curious about the sky, who first tried to learn and how.
Seriously, do I even need to post a review? It appears to be little more than a backroom afterthought of the American Museum of Natural History. Latecomers will not be admitted. The Eagles Nest offers an amazing view of Asharoken and Eaton's Neck. Your tour includes three or four winery visits, wine tastings, and transportation. The Vanderbilt’s Charles and Helen Reichert Planetarium opened its doors to the public in 1971.
Built as part of Union Station's renovations in the late 1990s, the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium's 60-foot dome and recently upgraded state-of-the-art projection system makes it one of the largest and highest resolution planetariums in the Midwest. It was beautiful and interesting.
Our kids go to the dance and art classes. I finally got to see the Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon, laser show.Great place to visit.
Shows at the Planetarium may be a little too scientific for young kids.Was saddened to learn that for a couple years the museum has been closed and this was never told to us when we bought our admission. It's always a pleasure!We attended September 14th Liverpool Shuffle and had a great time! On a Sunday over Labor Day Weekend. It's probably amazing in the summer and the grounds are beautiful ! I wish they had a little bit more interactive or can someone displays in the science area about the solar system though. We had a great time! Due to COVID-19, Ingram Planetarium is currently closed.
