As the title says I have a 1982 Chevy Luv that started life out as a factory diesel 4wd 4 speed I have converted it to a Turbo Diesel 5 speed 4wd I bought a low mileage 1986 turbo diesel Isuzu and did the swapp the engine and trans have around 200xxx miles on them the turbo diesel engine has the 1st generation connecting rods I have never had any issues with the engine I have never turned over 3000 rpm so I haven't had any issues at all motor is strong does not use oil or have any excessive blow by trans shifts good the truck currently has a 3:42 gear in the back so the 4wd cannot be used I have the factory 4:10 gear ratio chunk to go with the truck install that and everything will be back to normal it has a completely rebuilt front end and new tires the truck has rust like all of them do the frame is rusted almost into on the passenger side it could easily be fixed and road worthy again you can still drive the truck but the frame needs to be addressed to make it 100% road worthy I also have a 1987 Isuzu pup body with no trans or engine the frame and body is in good shape just has a couple of dents nothing major and one small rust spot in the bed other than that solid frame and cab and bed you could buy the body and stick the engine in it or whatever you would like I am asking 2500$ obo for both of them Call or txt for more info please no scam and I do not need help selling this vehicle THANKS!!!
