I built up a Soma Fog Cutter, a bike with geo somewhere between a traditional road bike and a more dedicated gravel bike. As far as the handling, The Fog Cutter it is pretty similar to the Cass, which is a good thing, IMO. I am beyond thrilled with my choice. Fogcutter was terrific to work with. Made my wedding day perfect. In fact, we had guests commenting on it the whole night, saying it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had.

I was looking for the perfect caterer for my wedding.

And the meals are incredible. Disc mounts stick with the IS standard, and while intended for 160mm rotors, can be adapted down to 140mm.The frameset is designed to work with full coverage fenders front & rear, but also builds in rack mounts in the back if you want to carry some heavy loads out on an adventure. The Fog Cutter sticks with a standard BB and round seattube, so it can get most any drivetrain setup you can think of.

All my guest loved the food. Bottom line: outstanding! We had many guests comment to us that the food at the wedding was the best food they had all weekend (beating out the very fancy rehearsal dinner restaurant food and some other very regarded San Francisco restaurants.

If you need a caterer.

Seriously.

Zero complaints from either of us, if your looking for a caterer for your wedding, you would be giving yourself a disservice for not at least looking into fogcutter.

Their expertise, experience, and professionalism were constant - we couldn't have asked for a better catering team. After lots of research and some strong recommendations, I couldn't be more thankful to have gotten in touch with Caroline at Fogcutter. Current set up has dura ace friction shifters and is quickly converted for bikepacking when needed. It could have an aluminum steer tube. They are the championsFogcutter is an amazing catering company, the food was delicious and unique. I'm so grateful that we found Fogcutter because their catering was a major highlight of the event. My husband and I hired Fogcutter for our July 2019 wedding in San Francisco and I don't even know where to start with how wonderful they are! We had to make some major changes when our venue fell through a month before the wedding, and they were flexible, supportive and patient as we got our ducks in a row.I could not speak more highly of my experience with the Fogcutter, who managed the catering, bar, rentals and floral design for my wedding at the Bell Valley Retreat in Boonville, CA.I could write a long winded review of how amazing fogcutter is and how they they made the best day of our lives just that, but I dont think I need to. The fog cutter is closely related to the Soma ES. As designers, my husband and I are crazy about details. They really took the time to get to know us as a couple and our vision for the wedding instead of just presenting a menu to pick from. (the struggle is real when you’re 5′)Bikerumor.com is the world’s largest cycling tech blog. Waiting for a 29/27+ specific frame to get my third. From the moment we met Caroline and Guillermo, we knew we were in the right hands.

Caroline and her staff all have 5 stars.

Those often add a lot of weight while still being called carbonAl steer tube, typically 200g more than all carbon.Yeah, it’s “carbon/aluminum”, which basically means 90% aluminum with some carbon blades. At 775g, I think I’d rather it just come with a painted-to-match steel fork. One thing that’s always driven me bonkers about Soma is their insistence on separating the frame and fork.

Fog Cutter. Responses to questions are prompt. ; )Caroline, Guillermo, Natalie, and the rest of the Fogcutter team are hands down phenomenal! This bike goes the simplest 1x route, but since it is sold as a frameset, it is really up to your imagination.

So far, it feels fun around town, much like the Cass did. "…""3 months to plan a reception for 150 people for my best friend's wedding. with another company and they had the venue looking absolutely gorgeous. Caroline and the Fog Cutter team are a joy to work with! They were incredibly understanding and accommodating around some guest's dietary restrictions, and even made the cake. Coming from the events industry, I had high standards for my own wedding! I poached parts off of a road bike and an "adventure" bike based on a rigid 29er MTB frame. I love the way this frames look and ride.

Key to the Wolverine is flexibility.

She even asked for my invitation so she could match the font for the food labels! The entire experience from start to finish was just fantastic.

They customized a rainbow of colors and flavors, full of fresh veggies, but most importantly, not pretentious.

Skot was informative, broke down all the costs, didn't mind all my crazy phone calls, and made all of us so happy we chose to work with him.

On my second one now. I was worried since it was such a small, 'simple' request, it wouldn't impress the team.

It even comes in my size! 57 reviews of Fogcutter "Wow just wow! She was able to work with in my (limited) budget and helped refine my appetizer choices to fit…""Wow! Sometime it takes looking around the streets of Berlin to get a closer look at a bike that we really had only seen as a prototype from a US-based company. Fogcutter also worked with the rental company to get all of our rentals delivered, and they also provided the florals. There were certainly positives to working with fogcutter, and as we voiced concerns along the way, they were professional and accommodating.
