This year has seen a record percentage of students from Workington Academy applying to prestigious Russell Group universities, including Leeds, Sheffield and Edinburgh as well as a significant number securing highly sought-after apprenticeships. We believe in the unlimited potential of every child, and our 'Chobham Pillars' reflect that relentless aim to secure outstanding outcomes for our students. Oliver has chosen to go on to university, whilst Saad has gained a mechanical engineering degree apprenticeship with Babcock International who specialises in defence, emergency services and civil nuclear.

In September 2019 our students have graduated from Chobham Academy to some of the top universities in the country. The Academy saw significant improvements in the number of students achieving the best A Level grades with 16% of grades at A* or A. Our well-being bulletin is being sent home to parents today. Welcome to Park Academy West London, where we aim to empower young minds, create opportunities and deliver dreams. We have also seen an increase in the proportion of A* - B grades to 37%. Two learners, Saad Butt from Stoke-on-Trent and Oliver Clough from Stafford both gained a D*D* in his Engineering Diploma but are each taking different pathways.
