The man was driving a silver sedan eastbound on state Route 75, where he stopped his car midspan and jumped into San Diego Bay, the CHP said. A Harbor Police dive team recovered the man’s body about 1:15 p.m. Two of the man’s relatives were at the scene and expected to take possession of his car, CHP officers reported.
