From seeing the faces of our cabin neighbors this would be a great family vacation site - the pool, fishing, horseshoe pit, outdoor grills and picnic tables (separate grills and tables for each cabin) provide everything you need for a fun time. Such a great time. the cabins are second to none and just west of the cavern on the river is one of the most beautiful places to swim. Smoke Hole Resort’s visitors can also enjoy many other local attractions that can range from fishing to rock climbing in the summer to touring a museum to skiing in the winter. From this excellent base location, we made daily trips to many of the local sites and attractions. Wish the gift shop had been open, but the pandemic has everything closed down. You could spend a day just enjoying the gift shop and the staff is friendly and helpful. SHC were opened to the public on 30 May 1940.
