It is not grayed out. For some reason I have never been able to draw on Word documents as everything under the draw tap is grayed out and inaccessible.
This also worked.By the way, I also tried a few of the suggestions on the forum and got as far as seeing the "Start Inking" button, but it was also greyed out. I did a great deal of searching for information, but cannot find very much at all about ink in MS Word 2010.
