Lots of things to do right on the Pacific Beach, on the Bay, lots of shops as well. Right now I'm sitting outside enjoying the ocean breeze and enjoying My personal bitching aside, this place has a great location, laundry, We were in A4, in the first cul-de-sac from the entrance making us quite close to the waste-"So let me preface this review by saying I don't typically go through the trouble of making a review for things but the quality of service and overall experience my wife and I had at this Bed and Breakfast was so high I felt as…""Let me start off by saying I AM VERY PICKY about which hotels I stay in, and there really aren't many options in morro bay.- TRUST ME, i looked. Dog Friendly. The sites are a little tight but still enough room for movement. Maintenance personnel were everywhere and very friendly when asked a question. We are making this one of our favorite stops.Looks like these negative reviews don't understand the Central Coast. One of the few parks along the coast that we stayed with a fully fenced pet run so big & small guys can stretch their legs off the leash.
Wifi is available and has a strong signal, but was still almost impossible to pick up the internet.
So slow it is slower than a dial-up. This place is more of a spot to park and then leave to explore the coast. We would recommend to anyone who loves beach camping with the comfort of full hookups.Nice that it is so close to the beach. Some sewage odor, from the water treatment plant next-door. We asked for a pull through when we called for a reservation but were given a back-in on arrival as they did… The sites are super close together, but so are the sites at the state campground nearby. There are picnic tables and a fire pit in our site. When we first pulled in, I wasn't sure what to expect. Stayed in room 239, the one bedroom luxury suite.
the price for tents sites are fair at $27 a night and i believe $40 for a rv site We stayed here for the first time in our trailer October 9th-13th 2011. We were able to get a pull-thru spot, so that made things easier. Bathrooms and laundry are immaculate. Both were clean. You have to call back to see if there was an opening due to a cancellation. I have to say the location of this park cannot be beat. Forget about the WiFi. They pack you in there, and I mean they PACK YOU IN! You can't go anywhere in the park without seeing the 3 stacks and the rock. My daughters found 1 million Sandollar's on their first trip to the beach!Perfect location in Morro Bay. Morro Dunes RV Park. We had a lovely view of our neighbors huge RV parked next to us from our patio. Being next to the rock and the ocean was a plus...I just tried to ignore the smoke stacks. Location, location, location! Yes, the spots are close together, but we had no problems with privacy. Yah! Why? Away from the rock they are not allowed. The water was cold and they let the park know. I love the beach nearby- soft, powdery sand, the view of the Morro bay rock is magnificent.
I know they just upgraded their Wi-Fi but it's still slow. Quick walk or bike ride to the town of Morro Bay. The restrooms could use some updating and a real good cleaning.
The end spots are better as you at least have a bit more privacy and room. He walks around like a drill Sargent telling you to keep it down etc! We have a trailer as do the vast majority of campers there so our perspective is from an RV point of view, not tenting. When I asked for certain sites or ones that were together the receptionist was short and rude. Looking out to our left, we faced more RVs in the circle. The RV Park, including the restrooms and showers are clean. Tons of sea otters in the harbor. We were out taking our 22ft trailer and truck for the first time. We had a tire go soft and the park's handyman came by to help, and directed us to the local tire shop. The Bay is literally across the street from the RV Park and Morro Bay restaurants and shopping are within walking distance down a foot/bike trail.
