Mrs. Cipres has several library contests including Box Tops and Reading Counts.The upper and primary classrooms that turn in the most Box Tops each trimester win an ice cream party.The student in each grade level with the most points each trimester receives the Super Star Reader Medal at the trimester awards assembly. All students who reach the reading counts goal set by their teacher earns a prize at the end of each trimester. City Hall The library@esplanade is Singapore’s first public library dedicated to the performing arts, specialising in the areas of 4 “Villages” for Music, Dance, Theatre and Film music, dance, theatre, and film.
Library resources are categorised by theme, with different media formats, print and non-print, found alongside each other, allowing for greater accessibility and convenience.The library has facilities catered to the performing arts, including three Screening Rooms, a Piano Practice Room, and a Silent Studio where musicians can hold jamming sessions. But those seats are actually the refurbished vintage theatre chairs from the old Capitol Theatre donated by Capitol Investment Holdings and installed in the library in early 2014.
